How do I start playing?

Sign up on the site, download the launcher on the Download page and log in with your account name and password.

What are the rates?

Experience x10, honor x10, vocation x10, growth x10; loot x10, gold x10, proficiency x10. Maximum level 50. The full list is on the About page.

How much labor is there?

Up to 10,000 points. In game it regenerates +50 every 5 min, offline +30 every 5 min.

Which client do I need?

ArcheAge 1.2 (r208022). Download the launcher on the Download page — it fetches and verifies the files itself.

The launcher says files are damaged

Click "Verify files": the launcher re-downloads only the broken parts. If the error persists, check the free disk space and your antivirus.

The game crashes on start

Start the game only from the launcher, not from "Program Files". After a crash the launcher offers to send a report — it helps us find the cause.

How many accounts can I create?

Several, each with its own e-mail. Breaking the rules on one account may lead to bans of the linked ones.

I forgot my password

Reset it on the login page via the account e-mail. The password changes in the game and on the site at the same time.

How do I protect my account?

Turn on two-factor protection (TOTP) in your personal account and do not reuse passwords across sites.

Which race should I choose?

The race sets the starting continent and looks but not the class. More on the Races section.

How do classes work?

You pick three of the ten skillsets; their combination is your class. Skillsets can be changed at a special NPC.

How do I get a house and land?

Buy a house or farm design and find a free spot in a housing zone. Pay the taxes, or the land will be released.

How do I become a pirate?

A character with a lot of crime points becomes a pirate. Pirates leave the alliances and live by their own laws.

How often are the rankings updated?

Every 15 minutes. Staff characters are not included in the rankings.
